Let us not forget about Surrender….
You know the part that does much more than remove itself from a situation or modify behavior. While the mind and heart wander in the desert, Surrender says, “God, take this from me, for it is not of you.”
Let us not forget about Love….
You know the part that desires the presence of God so fervently that it puts forth a fight to live for the only One who makes us whole. Love delights in God and desires to please Him, not out of fear, but out of conviction that He is worthy.
It’s a moment of self-reflection for me, which always involves scattered thoughts. You’ve ever tried to figure out your heart and come to the conclusion that truly it is deceitful above all things? For this reason we must hold onto God, because He alone searches and knows the depths of our hearts.
“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.” Psalm 139:1
Have you had some time for self-reflection recently? What is God whispering to your heart in the stillness?
May your day be graciously adventurous,
Tati ❤️
P.S. Does anyone know of a device that translates thoughts into text? My carpal tunnel would appreciate it. Thanks.
The heart “is deceitful above all things” 💛 I have to remember this. Thank you for another wonderful post.
